Denied Dreams
Over 2 crore+ deserving students, including 4.5 lakh+ in Tamil Nadu, are being denied higher education every year due to financial constraints, robbing their future and hindering our nation’s progress.
Tamil Nadu's Struggle
Despite impressive improvements in 12th board exam appearances, with 8.5 lakh students in 2023, the enrolment ratio stands at 46.9%, signifying that 450500 students are unable to continue higher studies due to financial constraints.
Enrollment Reality
Out of the total students in higher education, only 27% manage to enrol in colleges, while a staggering 20862707 students are forced to quit their education after schooling due to financial limitations.
A Threatening Cycle
Many students from lower middle-class, poverty-stricken, parentless, and rural backgrounds are forced to discontinue their education after schooling due to financial constraints. This perpetuates a cycle of limited opportunities, hindering personal and societal growth.
